i’m writing an enjoltaire teacher fic where R is a preschool teacher and enj teaches like civics or smth at the high school and idk what happens in high schools anymore lol

i know there are people in high school who follow me so please i need random shit that goes down in high school (it’s been a decade since i’ve been in high school 😭💀)

(i was gifted this plush today,,, hir name is lettuce and ze's so soft,,, enj would love a plush like hir trust)

first off, lettuce is adorable and i already love hir.

second, this is going in ifio

third, absolutely. in my brain enj sleeps with so many fucking stuffies that it’s not even funny anymore. but like

okay at some point in his life (we’re talking like high school/beginning of college) enj was just sleeping with a pillow that was flat as fuck and a comforter and that’s it.

and then courf gives him the stuffie and enj is like “what the fuck am i supposed to do with a kids toy?” but then he refuses to let go. takes it to classes with him and everything. if enj is there, the stuffie is also there.

so courf and ferre start gifting him stuffies.

he’s eventually gifted squishmallows and those are his favorite because he can use them for joint support and they’re so fucking soft. and soon enough his bed goes from barely anything to overflowing with stuffies and soft things 🤠

anyway if you ever need a gift for enj a stuffie is always a safe bet

i’ve read too many fics where jehan actually knows how to dress, they’re just alternative. or they have a good sense of style period.

and i need to remind everyone that nonbinary people who don’t know how to dress for their body or style at all exist. i know people like that.

Hello, I am scuttering in here to ask about your disabled Amis headcanons >:D

hello! thank you so much for asking!!!! i love yapping about disabled amis!

im going to share my current headcanons for what the amis (and a few others) have. (this is all it’s funnier in ohio canon accurate and not necessarily what i hc them with all the time but its what i think about them having the most because im currently working on writing ifio lol.)

enjolras: eds, pots, mcas, insomnia. he is an ambulatory wheelchair user. he uses a cane mostly (because combeferre makes him use a mobility aid every day and using a cane makes him feel the least disabled), but will also use a walker or a wheelchair depending on the day. he also has a port on his chest to get iv fluids daily. (i’m directly projecting on him)

grantaire: bipolar, adhd, insomnia, anxiety, depression, ptsd, past alcoholism, probably liver damage. i feel like that’s enough said lol. (im also directly projecting on him lol just not the alcohol)

combeferre: autistic. and also bad vision. bad like -4.75 in his right eye and -7.25 in his left eye. he does wear glasses and that fixes his eyesight though 🤠

courfeyrac: he got fucking allergies (mosquitoes, pollen, ibuprofen, squash). the squash allergy is particularly devastating to him because during halloween time he always wants to bring in pumpkins for his kids to play with (especially as like a sensory experience) but he can’t ☹️ he also has migraines. he’s really chill about the allergies even tho they can get bad. he’s absolutely devastated any time he gets a migraine tho.

jehan: tendonitis. because they write so much. all the time. and they will cry if they can’t write with a pen on paper, and sometimes they have to be physically stopped.

bahorel: amputee. he got into a car accident as a 19 year old and lost his left arm because of it, plus other lasting effects from the car accident that i haven’t quite decided.

feuilly: HoH. partly genetic, but got worse after he was working in a loud factory.

joly: spinal nerve damage, pots, asthma, autism, anxiety, generally weak immune system and low pain tolerance. he is also an ambulatory wheelchair user! he mostly uses his cane though unless he’s having a particularly rough day. his go to mobility aid after his cane is a wheelchair because he likes being pushed by his partners and being able to hold someone’s hand 🤠💚

bossuet: alopecia. my man has been bald since he was a child. and it used to make him feel bad/insecure but now he’s proud of his bald head. he has anemia, too.

musichetta: endometriosis

marius: uses forearm crutches. for what? haven’t exactly decided yet. i still have one more chapter to figure it out though.

cosette: she broke her arm when she was younger and it never quite healed properly so now she has arm pain for life 🥀 this was when she lived with the thenardiers so you know they didn’t take proper care of her.

eponine: cptsd (cuz you know, thenardier family 😔) and adhd

sorry i know some of them don’t really have an explanation. but this is about as flushed out as i have their disabilities right now for this au.
