Memories We Could Have Had pt. I
I drop you off in front of your house and you quickly run out the car and come to the drivers side to my open window and smile at me. You give me a quick kiss and whisper goodnight to me. You walk down the path to your house in a silly way and look back at me when you reach your door. You smile and mouth I love you and turn back around and walk inside your house.
I stay for a while and smile. Once I was sure you were inside I start to leave and see you wave at me from your room and I wave back. I drive away slowly while looking back at my rearview mirror and watch as you slowly get farther away.
It was a good night.
