Thank you so much. I think the most important resource for apostates and those who want to leave is knowing they aren't alone. It's so isolating when you grow up in a religious community, because they're meant to isolate you from other opinions.
Then suddenly being separated from your family, your friends, your community because you want out and you have no one else to tell you how the world works, it's scary. And I think it what keeps a lot of people from deconverting, the fear of being alone and helpless.
The Tumblr apostasy community is fantastic and I am so glad I stumbled upon it. I would've liked having this place to fall back on when I was deconverting as a teen.
