((Since unspecified, this is for the mun.
1. What is your full name? I won’t give my full name away on the internet - sorry - but my first name is Lara.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like? One older sister, and she’s an awesome person. We kinda hated each other when either of us was in middle school, but we worked it out by the end of that. She’s an awesome big sister, the first person I came out to and who helped me deal with that, and I love her very, very much. I’m gonna get to see her over the winter holidays, and I’m really glad of it.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? I have clinically diagnosed depression, which thanks be to all the Gods is reasonably amenable to treatment, but does flare up from time to time. I also have a bit of hyperflexibility that makes me more prone to tendonitis, which I once had in both wrists in the same time, and some things in my legs that make my knees a bit prone to sucking sometimes, but both don’t really bother me so long as I do the proper preventative care.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss?I presume you mean romantically, so I’ll leave my parents right out of that discussion. :P I think I kissed my eighth-grade boyfriend, once, but I’m honestly not sure. The first one I know was with the first woman I fell in love with - and was infatuated with, which is not the same thing as love - and she’d come over to my house, and I brought her ought to this hidden copse in the backyard so we could chat without my parents knowing. And it was kinda gray and rainy, that day, and I still really like kinda gray and rainy days from time to time. It wasn’t that great - I do remember thinking, “Is this it? This is what everyone fusses over?” but it was really nice ‘cause I loved her. I’m still not a great kisser…. ^^; It’s sweet, in memory, and a little sad because of all the stuff that came after - nothing horrifying, just, you know, teenage romance. But it still makes me smile to remember it.
42. What are your religious views? I’m an eclectic Pagan, which means I take what fits with how I see the universe and my experiences in it and kinda mash it all together in a semi-coherent whole. ^^; Basically, I do the standard Wiccan reverence for the eight Sabbats - yearly festivals, the equinoxes and solstices and cross-quarters - worship and acknowledge both the archetypal God and Goddess as well as more personal versions of each, and have a deep and abiding reverence for nature and the wonder and beauty of it all. My guiding law is “An it harm none, do what ye will,” which also means do least harm or if you do harm, be prepared for the consequences, believe in the Law of Three - whatsoever you do returns three times to you - and believe that the three great and sacred gifts we have been given are Life, Love, and Free Will - and not necessarily in that order. There’s a lot more than I can really explain in this format, so message me if you’re still curious. :P
Oh, I also realized an important thing - I don’t believe I’m necessarily right about all this, it’s just the best model I have - talk to me about the Analogy of the Jewel, which is personal so don’t bother googling it. :P I find a quote that fits my view of human knowledge of/interaction with Divinity is “The world is not a prison house, but rather a spiritual kindergarten, where millions of bewildered infants are all trying to spell God with the wrong blocks.”
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe the person. Oh, gods, yes I do. I have a wonderful, amazing, brilliant fiancee, and we are getting married next July. She is… more than I can describe, honestly. She has a very keen mind and sense of compassion, and we can and do talk about everything under the sun, from philosophy to politics to coming up with crazy theories about Dr. Who or the MCU or Homestuck or any number of her or our mutual fandoms, and we watch football together every Sunday. ^^ She keeps me grounded and balanced, and she can always make me smile, even when I’m really grumpy. I love her with all my heart.
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? Not really, at all. I like one-on-one interaction, or small groups, because then I can really get into it and we can all be involved and participate together. Large groups tend to stress me out.
99. What three words would other people use to describe you? Um, shouldn’t you all ask that question of other people? :P It depends if they know me or not, I guess, but I think people see me as kind, smart, and weird. I think so, anyhow, you can ask others if that’s right or not. :P ))
