H I A T U S

Initium Finis started out as an idea, a magic place where creativity would flow, and that is what this place was for us. But with lack of time to fully dedicate to this beautiful place we noticed that the magic that once were was no more and after many discussions Tiffy and I have decided to place Initium Finis on a indefinite hiatus. This does not mean that we will not re-open but we want this place to rest until we feel inspired enough to bring it back (better than before).

Thank you all for bearing with us through the times, for still being active and also for being so incredibly creative. We have been amazed by things posted on the dash and have fully enjoyed playing with you - and we hope you have had the same positive experience with us. Thank you, for being a part of Initium Finis and if you ever want us to contact us (in case Initium Finis re-opens) please send in an account to where we can reach you.

News

As you can see we have started to updating of the roleplay and are currently also thinking about adding new characters. If you have any suggestions please feel free to suggest them to us here. We have also updated the audition form and if there are any questions do not hesitate to contact us. Tomorrow we will hopefully be done with updating the graphics for the biographies and we are trying to get this done as soon as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

For those who have still not answered the message we sent them yesterday (this is part of the activity warning) please do so before 3PM GMT tomorrow.

Coming Events

A Halloween ball will be arranged for every student to participate in. A great time for drama and also new connections to be made. More details about this event will be posted next week. Tom Riddle will also hold a meeting for his Knights of Walpurgis which could cause even more tension between the several groups within the castle. Events are an important opportunity for players to interact with other characters their character may not talk to otherwise. The possibilities are endless, and we'll give you more details about both events by the beginning of next week.

Hello there, darlings.

After a lot of talking Tiffy and I have decided that we want to make some changes to Initium Finis in order to up the activity but also raise more interest for the group. However, instead of a complete revamp we are going to change the biographies to open characters slightly and some faceclaim changes will be done. This means that people interested in the group can apply while we are doing these minor changes and our current players can continue playing. We are very open to event suggestions from our current players and character suggestions from potential future members as well.

We also want to make you all aware that we are still looking for another co-mod to jump onboard with us. The application can be found here.

Sometimes it can be hard to find inspiring ways of developing ones character hence we have both the character meme and now also a weekly prompt. We ask all our players to try and write a self para to the prompt provided. This weeks prompt will go under the theme sin. It can be a sin displayed in your characters behaviour, or a sin your character commits to. It is all up to you how you choose to interpret the word given.

We ask all our players to please finish this prompt by October 13th when we will post a new prompt.

CO-MOD APPLICATION

As you may or may not have noticed Tiffy and I have been incredibly busy as of late (you could say that real life have come and knocked on both our doors). Thus our activity as mods and as players have sadly decreased. Even if we are doing our best to keep up with the roleplay and be creative mods we have realised that this is simply too much for us at the moment. Therefore, we have decided to search for a third co-mod to join us with giving our players a great place to develop and develop their characters. You can find the co-mod application here.

So what may we seek in a co-mod here at Initium Finis? We seek ambitious, active and creative co-mods who feel like they can bring a lot to the table. Both Tiffy and I are a lot for thinking outside of the box and both throw in a lot of ideas to this roleplay. Activity is key for a co-mod as none of us can be on more than a couple of hours a day, and we will of course listen to the future co-mods ideas and work together as a team.
