Who says that there are no mountains in Miami? Here are some quick facts…. #MyArtEscape ⛰ Keep reading…👇🏼 ✔️ Miami Mountain made its way to Miami Beach from Nevada in 2016. Even with the non-stop rain, you can still find vibrant colors in Miami. i’m looking back at a detail shot of, “Innocent Forest” by Shun Sudo in the Design District. @shun_sudo was born in Tokyo. He was a kabuki actor when he was little, and this experience led him to completely fall in love with traditional Japanese performing arts. The stage art work and Japanese-style paintings that he encountered had such a strong impact on him that they continue to be the inspirations for his art works. He captures his subject matter in a few stylized brushstrokes—known as Japanese sumi-e painting, and then paints over that image with graffiti pop art. Some wines just bring you to your Nizza. #MyArtEscape 🍷 Yes, not punny!? However, the 2016 Nizza Garesio is a lovely wine. I paired it with gentle ripples gently kissed by summer sunset. Keep reading… • 🔻 Nizza did pair well with grilled pork and pasta in a light tomato sauce. However, I appreciated it so much more on its own. • 🔻 📝Ruby red with purple highlights. Intense, complex scent of red berries typical of the variety. Hints of strawberry, cherry and sour cherries in alcohol. Velvety, harmonious and fresh on the palate with sustained acidity and a great, agreeable finish.
