Lots of debate about this. Sources I have who’ve worked in media - celebs or otherwise, actually say that most like to do it themselves, but will sometimes run things by their SM team.
Did it ever occur to you that maybe he or whoever approves his tags just doesn’t understand these memes? Maybe he thought that one was meant like she’s so drop dead gorgeous or she strucked him like a wave (in that cheesy way)? Just a thought. I’d be really surprised if he approves that edit with her face in the wave and him running away from her. I think I just don’t really buy him shading her like that. I need something blatant that couldn’t be interpreted any other way. I think either he or someone from his team don’t understand this stuff so they let it go through.
