If I don't like the hc that Josuke becomes a cop it's not because I hate cops (even though I clearly don't like them), but it's because it would not fit Josuke.

Unlike the Joestars, Josuke's not violent by nature (it's literally one of the first things we learn abt him during his introduction). He can and will fight when necessary (and can be very cruel when you dare to talk abt his hair), but that's not his first instinct. Josuke is way more a caregiver in the way he wants everybody around him to be safe and happy and will do anything in his power to ensure that (which can include but is not limited to violence), and I think that reflects on his stand too. Crazy Diamond looks like a stand specialized in fighting, yet his power is very much a supportive power (unlike Star Platinum or even The Hand, for example).
