ok so ive found a book called igam ogam on google books and the first part of the preview is this (translated from welsh):

They say that at the root of every story is alcohol and a girl.

The first story began when Adam said: "Hey, those apples would make some damn good cider. I mean, God said don't eat them, right?"

And so Adam and Eve drank from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. The getting drunk was good, the hangover was evil. From that day onwards, things had consequences.

But, as in every story, the alcohol gets forgotten and the girl gets blamed.
