Lo que deja la marea. Galaxy A51 Camarones, Guajira. Camarones is a small town located 20 minutes from Riohacha and is the place where the Los Flamencos Fauna and Flora Sanctuary is located. At first I felt concern about go alone and without a tour, but this place showed me the friendliest side of the whole Guajira. How to get? If you are a foreigner, the easiest option is to hire a tour for 1 day, however it is more expensive. That's why the best option is go alone by taking a car that departs from the old market of Riohacha for COP $5,000. Once in the town you can take a motorcycle for COP $2,000 that will leave you on the beach, so you can take a tour of the sanctuary made by Wayuu natives. What to do? The best plan is take a tour of the flamingo sanctuary for COP $30,000. This tour is made by Wayuu natives people, specifically by Juan and Lorenzo, community leaders who were trained to be guides and protectors of the reserve. They will take you in a very handmade sailing boat through the Navío Quebrao lagoon, so that you can observe different species of birds that rest in the lagoon, until you reach the place where the flamingos gather. For their protection is not possible to get very close to them, however it's still an incredible sight. At the end you can spend noon and afternoon at Camarones beach and have lunch at @loscocoss restaurant, where they will offer you a very good sea food. This was one of the places that I liked to visit most, because the attention of the community, of Juan, of Lorenzo, of the people in the restaurant, of the artisanal navigation and, for that reason, I suggest it as a mandatory plan when you visit La Guajira. #VSCO #Vscocam #Igers #PicOfTheDay #Colombia #IgColombia #Guajira #Travelers #Travel #Travelgram #Backpackers #Beach #Landscape #Boat #Desert #Camarones #Colors #Sailing #Flamingos #Suramerica #Photography #Nikon #D5300 #35mm (en Camarones, La Guajira, Colombia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CPCC3YslFdo/?utm_medium=tumblr
