Remains is a narrative-based exploration game in which players assume the role of a character arranging an estranged parent’s funeral. Dredged up memories of her childhood begin influencing her experience of her own home, potentially crippling her ability to complete the tasks at hand or present an avenue to truly move forward. Remains was produced over 48 hours during the 2019 Global Game Jam for the theme ‘What does home mean to you?’.
