I’m so fab
A small Happy Horror
This is something I've written in my spare time (In the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep) and I've decided I might as well do something with it. Please to not steal it or anything like that. Read and enjoy. (IswearI'mnotaserialkiller)

She looked at the beaten, bloody, form in front of her. Her dark blue eyes glinting in what little light there was. Their current location was an abandoned factory of some sort, they were in a yard where the ground was gravel and tall wire fences surrounded them. The street lights a few metres away being the only source of light for the man, her current victim, to see her. He was kneeling on the ground, his hands bound to a metal pole behind him; the rocky ground underneath him was layered in his blood, glistening beautifully in the dim lighting.
The man was in his early forties, 41 to be exact, and while he hadn’t done anything bad the man hadn’t done anything great either. Not a very interesting target, but he had been fun all the same. Very vocal, and she loved it when they screamed. Made it so much more interesting and fun when she got a lively one, after all it’s no fun to reel in a docile fish. This particular game had gone on for two hours, not many lasted this long. Her bloody red hoodie shielded her auburn hair from view, and as she squatted down to his level she couldn’t help but smile a little when he cringed away from her.
“Well, this has been fun, hasn’t it? Unfortunately the night must end, so I’ll give you a chance to save yourself” the look of hope that he gave her made her want to laugh, the again man looked like a puppy. “Give me a reason to let you live, and I’ll let you go. No tricks, no lies, no doublecrossing of any sort. You don’t know my face, and I’ll doubt we’ll ever meet again. So, can you give me any reason? Any at all, and they have to be viable” she warned, holding out a single finger like a mother warning a child. He tried to move, but his legs were broken and it aggravated his wounds. Making them bleed more, seeping at a steady pace down his battered skin and onto the already soaked ground.
“F-fam” he tried, his voice hoarse and ragged. Blood oozed out with his saliva before dripping down his chin, falling onto the ground with the rest of his life source. The teenage girl tilted her head in mild confusion and surprise, most weren’t even able to utter any sounds by this point. The fact that he was still trying made her glad she spent the last two weeks studying him, he really was worth it.
“Family?” she finished for him, he managed a single nod. Though it looked like he was dozing off, and she couldn’t have that. Picking up a bloody pipe, one of her favourite weapons, from behind her the teen tapped his head with the tip of the metal object. Then placed it under his chin and lifted his face just enough for her to look into his brown eyes, though they were bloodshot and lidded.
“But you’re an only child” she stated, almost innocently but still in a way that meant she knew exactly what she was talking about. He inhaled deeply in both fear and surprise, panic beginning to seep in to his body.
“W-wife...” he wheezed out. The auburn haired girl moved the pipe away from him, and rested on her shoulder. Lightly tapping it as though in thought, leaning back on her heels as she rested her free hand on her knee and allowed it to dangle, the perfect picture of calm and casual.
“A wife, huh?” she wondered out loud “Well, if that’s the case...” she stood and turned to the single canister of gasoline. Turning back to the man, who looked like god had told him he’d go to heaven, she tilted her head. “Then where’s the wedding ring?” she asked, his eyes widened and quickly tried to speak. But all he managed was a gurgled, incoherent, splutter of some sort of moaning sound as more blood slipped out of his mouth. Sighing, the hooded girl tipped over the canister, the contents spilling out and spreading.
The flammable liquid flowed closer to the man as he tried to move, his body jerking as whimpers and groans left his bloody lips. The realization that he was going to die seeped into his soul like the fuel that soaked itself in his blood and pants. Tapping her pipe against her shoulder again, she walked around him and observed her work. She had been able to be more thorough with this one, last time she had been rushed to finish. Which was a shame because she knew the police loved her presents, though they never knew it was from her. Obviously, otherwise she would be in some cell. Iron or padded, she wasn’t sure.
The teen was brought out of her musings when the distant sound of sirens filled the chilled air. A perfect night to go camping with a small group of friends huddled around a campfire and roasting marshmallows and singing songs, maybe even playing a few games. Well, she didn’t have her friends with her, and she didn’t have any marshmallows. But she was sure the officers of the law would appreciate some warmth on this autumn night, she sure would. But alas, she would not be able to stay and enjoy the company of good people around a warm fire. Oh well, at least someone else can enjoy it for her, it’s the least she could do for such hard working folk.
“Looks like the Calvary is arriving” she said cheerily. Digging her pipe into the ground, she leant on it as she pulled out a matchbox and lit a single stick. Smiling down at the man, she placed the small box back in her pocket. Standing straight she picked up her pipe and held it limply at her side.
“Tell the others I said ‘hi’” she said before allowing the small flame to slip from her stained fingers and onto the soaked gravel. It lit up in seconds, and the man was kind enough to scream and wail in agony for her. Such a kind and generous man, though he really didn’t have much choice in the matter. She smiled wryly at the thought, humming a small tune she picked up her bag and began walking away. There was no evidence to point them to her, and considering how she didn’t have any connection to him whatsoever only made it better. While it would be a shame she would only read about the aftermath in the newspaper, or hear it on the news, it was better than being caught.
“I wonder if they’ll like this one” she laughed a little, going down several blocks before pulling out her cell phone and dialling a familiar number. “Nah, while they’re nice people they are way to serious about their job” she commented to herself and held the mobile to her ear. Listening to the rhythmic ringing before her friend finally picked up.
“Someone better be dead, or I’m gonna kill you” a tired sounding voice ringed in her ear. The blue eyed girl laughed, using her pipe as a cane as she walked down the abandoned street. The teen heard the male on the other end sigh and start rummaging around.
“Well, someone is dead and I’d like to see you try” she said easily “Anyways, it’s Saturday night. How about you call over the others and we’ll have a movie night, or morning considering the time. I’ll tell you guys about my latest adventure, even” she offered, knowing her group loved to hear about them. The boy scoffed, but affirmed that he would call the others. It would make a good alibi, even though she lived two towns over, and she rarely talked about her hunts. But this one was surprisingly good.
“How long till you get here?” he asked, she smiled as she exited the town border. A black motorbike hidden away in the shadows presented itself, mounting the vehicle she started the engine.
“I’ll let you know” she replied before ending the call and putting the cell back in her pocket. Looking back at the town, she chuckled at the sirens and the glow of the distant fire. This would be another cold case, with no connections at all.
