With rising costs and increasing debt facing many college graduates, discuss why college students should (or should not) pursue advanced degrees.
The decision should be based on life and career goals. tressiemc makes the valid point that though grad school may not be the sure thing it once was if you work in the civil service, as do many people of colour those advanced degrees can near guarantee promotions and advancement. I'd advise most people to engage in probably cost-benefit analysis.
