What is the Issue
The issue is not looked at as much as it should be on a world scale, many people do not think or put any thought into this issue and are usually oblivious to it unless it actually affects them. When you think about indigenous issues as a whole; the government and discrimination that is faced by these people within the work force never really gets brought up.
Instead of these companies helping to improve the situation for the indigenous people. Some companies don't even recognize the discrimination often going on in their workplace because they are often outspoken and are held silent. Also some companies that have discrimination within their workplace and are aware of it tend not to take action or not care due to not having respect or care for these indigenous people.
No one is putting little if any effort into fixing the problem with the indigenous people. The government could possibly help others recognize and help people learn about what these indigenous people have actually gone through.
