     Andrei... did not dislike sweets. He didn’t make a habit of buying them, but he could recognize quality when he tasted it, and he had actually exerted the effort to find the best he could for the next task he was faced with. Offloading his undesired spoils on Joshua was something of an impulsive move, and one he certainly did not regret, but a series of unsatisfactory gifts would tarnish the reputation of Yngvi, if word were to spread.

     Thus, he set the box of chocolates onto the table before Ignatz with a flourish, before giving a nod and seating himself across from the other man. “I don’t believe we’ve had occasion to speak, before the inception of this... event,” he said, “But you practice archery as well, do you not? I’ve seen you in the training grounds.”

[ TASTE ] Ignatz had poked a marshmallow on a stick and held it near the fire. He turned over to Artur. "Hey, do you know how to tell if it's done?"

“I believe you’d have to look at its slow change in color. If it starts looking a bit more brown-ish, then you can take it off. If it starts to burn though, blow it out as quick as you can!”

*As Artur said that, his marshmallow began to burn, as he gasped and blew it out, sighing as he ate the slightly burnt treat.*

“Basically? Don’t leave it for too long.”

100%. As I headcanon Chrom and Robin to be Lucina's parents, i imagine that watching the two of them interact, before their deaths and even after traveling to the past, she sees them as each other's soulmates, thus believes in soulmates, romantic and platonic.

I don't think Lucina has found anyone to call a soulmate really, though the closest that would come to being called her soulmate(s) would be Severa and Gerome, both for different reasons.

Gonna head into some headcanony territory here but:

with Severa, romantic soulmate. with my version of Lucina, they were previously in a relationship, which they mutually broke off pre-time travel. But they spent much of their time together, and Lucina allowed herself to show her weaknesses when they were alone together. I would say she leaned on Severa a lot emotionally pre-awakening.

with Gerome, platonic soulmate. "You have been my most stalwart companion ever since childhood". Lucina says this to him in their s-support, but my point stands that they've always been close, which i see in a more platonic sense than romantic

I imagine Lucina unofficially views him as her second-in-command, and there's this sense of deep, unwavering trust and loyalty between them that is different from Lucina's relationships with the other 2nd gen characters. Not to say she doesn't trust any of the others, but it just always felt different with Gerome to me

In a sense, yes.

Soren can't imagine more than one person fully accepting him and wanting him after getting to know him and every bit of himself that he deems vulnerable and unlovable. So he does, but it's with more sorrow than joy.

Draw Me Like Your Fódlan Girls

It is quiet around the monastery with everyone off on their respective missions. Deirdre worries often for her friends and her son but she plans on turning this opportunity into a blessing by seeking out those that she hasn't had the chance yet to meet. She had not expected the monastery to be so populated when she and Arvis had been planning to travel here.

One afternoon, she notices Ignatz sitting by himself in the dining hall for lunch. Oh! The perfect opportunity to finally introduce herself! She doesn't know much about him but he always seemed rather shy. There are rumors about the Golden Deer that paint him as an artist and Deirdre is quite curious. She does not have much experience with the fine arts herself but the handful of times she has sat for a portrait, it was like magic watching the royal painter work.

“I hope it is alright if I join you.”  She takes a seat across the table from him and gives a wide smile.  “It makes me miss everyone more to see so many empty chairs in here during this time of day.  Normally I might enjoy it less noisy but I do worry for my friends.”
