“Ohoho, yeah. You’ll definitely do, Blondie.”
It was rare that he found someone whose physique was so alluring to him. There was a pull, a definitive desire that he just couldn’t ignore while his eyes rested upon the blonde woman. His gaze panned over every inch of her form, drinking in every aspect of her, and a wolfish grin spread across his features, a dangerous glint in his eye. The young man placed himself squarely in her line of sight, eyes burning with a naked desire. His hands began to move, his body repositioning itself out of base instinct.
Muscles rippled under his shirt, and his limbs bent and angled themselves, guard rising to protect his vitals. His knuckles cracked and popped as he flexed his fingers before settling them into fists. He spread his weight over his legs and stabilized himself, the flesh in his legs ready to tens and release at any given time- a practiced combatant sizing up a mark. The grin only grew, the prospect of being able to keep his edge here in this strange land providing him more comfort than anything he’d seen thus far. Finally, he spoke again, his voice more guttural and growled, baritone ground over sandpaper as it left his body.
“Fight me. Let’s see who’s tougher!”

aren’t we all just the universe’s soup anyway
“and you’re the croutons!”
steady, aim, fire.
she had but a single foam bullet loaded into her toy, for all the remaining ammunition lay for further use in her pocket. well... whatever was left of it, at least. these little things were not the easiest to keep track of-- but that was beside the point. blake knew exactly what she had to do in order to get her partners attention.
what better way would that be than with a friendly love-tap?
the bullet ends up bouncing off of yang’s back with ease, rolling off to the side for the faunus to maybe pick up later. for now she simply stands in place, twirling the toy between her fingers with a small grin.
“ looks to me like you’re a little rusty. ”

@ignitedsol SAID: “I trust you.”
at first, the faunus chooses to remain silent.
there are a multitude of emotions that come forth when she hears those three words coming from yang. trust is a very valuable and important thing and it’s crucial to almost every relationship. it’s hard to come by and even harder to keep...and seemingly almost impossible to repair at times. there are few people in this world who blake trusts more than anything she’d willingly leave her life in their hands and her golden haired partner is one of them. and while the faunus has always been absolute in her trust of the other, she’s always wondered if it was the same for yang.
at moments, she wonders if she’s deserving of any trust that was there after everything had happened. after all, she left. she only stayed long enough to ensure everyone was alive before turning and running to protect them. without word, without a note-- nothing. with her own hands, she tried to burn the bridges she built during her time at beacon because the pain had been too much. the shame, the guilt-- it had formed an iron tight vice around her heart and refused to let up. she didn’t need to be around to know that the other had been angry and with good reason. blake couldn’t, and wouldn’t, fault her for that anger.
and even after everything that happened at Haven and afterwards, she still finds moments of doubt plaguing her. questions running rampant through her head, none she ever verbalized. after everything they had been through, a part of blake knows yang trusts her. she knows but then there are those little voices that try to say otherwise. now, they’re not nearly as strong as they once were, but they still lingered.
but hearing yang say she trusted her--no doubt in her voice, no hesitation....it does wonders silencing those voices.
“I--”
she’s never been too good with words. she’s gotten a lot better, but in moments like these, they’re hard to come by. she was always a person of action, but action wasn’t always needed. so she takes a deep breath, exhaling slowly as a smile works its way on her lips. feline ears flicker once, her head tilting to the side.
“ I trust you, too.”
