Other chocobros surprise Gladiolus by making a special spicy noodles soup for him on his birthday. (Tom Yum [ต้มยำ] is a spicy Thai style soup. Tom yum flavour instant noodles is very popular in Thailand.)

Final Fantasy XV--Ignis/Nyx snippet
Just a short bit that came to me; Gen rating :) These two deserve some happy moments. Ignis looked out at the rapidly growing sunrise, light flaring against the spotless windows of the citadel. Morning traffic was picking up, and the shops clustered around the plaza were beginning to open for the day’s business. Another normal day in Insomnia–but not for him or his friends. They’d be leaving the city for the first time in a matter of hours.
“You look way too serious for somebody about to head out on a sort-of vacation,” a familiar voice behind him said. Ignis smiled, turning to find himself caught in a pair of arms as lips captured his own. Nyx returned the smile as they ended the kiss.
"Habit," Ignis said once they pulled away from each other. "It's not every day one's prince goes off to get married." He held out a second cup of coffee to the glaive. "Care for some Ebony?” “
Six yes, thanks." Nyx took the mug, taking a generous swallow from it. "You're still going to Altissia with the others, then?"
Ignis nodded. "I must, for several reasons, only one of which is the fact that Noct--his Highness, I should say, needs me of all people by his side." His phone suddenly chirped at him. "And that would be my summons to leave." Ignis set his now empty coffee mug down on the little bistro table he'd been standing at, and turned to Nyx. They regarded each other: Ignis in his Crownsguard casual clothes, Nyx in his Kingsglaive uniform--and then they were in a strong embrace, the glaive setting down his drink. They'd gone their separate ways before; duties calling them to various parts of the citadel and the surrounding environs--but this felt different. The royal wedding was taking place overseas in imperial-governed territory where any number of things could happen. It would be weeks before they'd see each other again and cellphone use would most likely be restricted.
"You come back safe, you hear?" Nyx said, voice suddenly thick. He held Ignis a little tighter. The royal advisor did the same. They pulled apart only enough to touch foreheads.
"You stay safe as well, love," Ignis murmured. "Things here will be hectic if the treaty between Lucis and Niflheim is truly going to be signed this coming week." They kissed again, drawing it out as long as they could.
"I'll be alright. I'm worth the wait, remember? Just remember our time together last night if things get too rough over there."
Ignis smiled; their time together as lovers had been a bright source of comfort for them both over the months leading up to this day. Finally he got into the car waiting to take him to Noctis and the others, and Nyx watched it drive off, the memory of Ignis' kiss warming his thoughts.

Oooh I’m gonna go with Ignis/Nyx cause I don’t get to write/talk about that ship a lot >.>
Who said “I love you” first: Nyx. Ignis was trying to say it but he couldn’t get the words out because that was a very vulnerable thing to say. So Nyx just said it because he knew Ignis was trying really hard.
Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: Ignis. (Well both of them but everyone expects it from Nyx.) The guys are surprised when they see it and Ignis just flushes pink and is like “He’s my boyfriend. Is that such a crime?”
Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: Nyx. Despite all appearances, Ignis has some vulnerabilities and insecurities that only Nyx knows about. So Nyx often leaves notes for Ignis to read after his shower. When Ignis goes blind (if we go that route), Nyx finds a way to leave messages in braille there instead.
Who buys the other cheesy gifts: Ignis. Nyx and Ignis don’t really do gift giving as a major thing. They prefer to spend time together. But occasionally Ignis finds something kitschy enough that leaving it in Nyx’s locker will bring a great source of hilarity for the glaives. It becomes a running gag.
Who initiated the first kiss: Nyx. After he confesses to Ignis, he cups his face and kisses him before Ignis can think about it too much.
Who kisses the other awake in the morning: It depends. They both get up early, but sometimes one gets up before the other. Sometimes Nyx pretends he’s asleep still so Ignis can kiss him good morning.
Who starts tickle fights: Nyx. He does it when Ignis is being too serious. It reminds them both to laugh from time to time.
Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower: Ignis. “It saves water.” (It never saves them water.)
Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: Usually it’s Nyx, but occasionally Ignis surprises Nyx for lunch. The first time it happened was when the glaives basically didn’t believe Nyx when he said he was dating Ignis. He shows up for a lunch date, and Nyx is elated (and a bit smug).
Who was nervous and shy on the first date: Both of them, but Nyx was more the bumbling flirt and Ignis was more the awkward “just be proper” type. They both end up relaxing when they go back to Ignis’s place and decide to forego the formalities of traditional dates.
Who kills/takes out the spiders: Nyx does. He takes them out before Ignis can even see them. Ignis doesn’t mind spiders, but he prides himself on a clean home. Spiders inevitably always get in, but Nyx escorts them out before he thinks Ignis notices (Ignis does notice but he doesn’t say anything. He just lets Nyx have that).
Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk: Ignis. It surprises them all the first time because Ignis is usually so reserved. But he gets really drunk one night and ends up gushing about how he loves Nyx so much until he passes out.
