Kristofer Murray was born in 1985 (he's not ashamed of that). Kristofer grew up wearing all the clothes and listening to all the music millennials are borrowing from in 2017. Kristofer came up during and before MySpace and Facebook. Kristofer was taught if you didn't do it, you don't rap or brag about it. Kristofer was taught that if you weren't selling drugs, you couldn't fraud like you were. Kristofer was never PROUD to use hard drugs either. When Kristofer was growing up, dudes would come to your block and check you on your block and film it if you were lying about criminal activity. You couldn't pick fights with people or talk behind their backs and not see them in the streets without a fight or a serious conversation about it. Criminals didn't flash weapons and drugs on camera when Kristofer was growing up (not the smart criminals at least). You couldn't "act cool" when Kristofer was a teenager through pictures, but be a WHOLE BONAFIDE lame and nerd in real life! There were no "filters" to hide behind. You actually had to work hard when Kristofer grew up too. You valued hard work because nothing was easily given to you back then. There were no "likes", "views", or "Re-" anythings back then....It wasn't just a popularity contest. When Kristofer was coming up people actually based their level of respect towards you and your worth: on your skills, your talents, you work ethic, and your prior resume. Kristofer still had the internet, but he looked at it as another weapon, and not the only one. He still pounded the pavement, networked, and cared about people. But what do I know? I'm slightly over 30 right?? I'm "OLD" nowadays. But hey, my name is Kristofer Murray though....I'm signed to Kobalt Music Publishing. I've written on two GRAMMY nominated albums.
