The Shadow Child: Chapter One

A thing that popped up in my mind during work.

What if MC had a sibling who was so often left out? What if MC was the golden child.... and their sibling was the shadow child?

I was casually sitting in a cold, dark corner of Ristorante Six, swirling a glass of red wine and sipping it.

This was probably my third glass....and the scent of wine was much better than going back to the House of Lamentation and watching the seven avatars fawn over the other one.... MC....

I sighed, getting up to leave until someone stopped me. "Ihana. Good to see you here."

I froze, I'd know that voice anywhere at any time. "Lucifer....good to see you too. I was just leaving."

I gave him a small smile, trying to get away from him. I didn't want to stay up late as I had classes the next day.

"Well...I have to leave now, Lucifer. I have exams this week," and it was true. I just wanted to try the menu at Ristorante Six, so I came by.
