What an incredibly gracious and beautiful young woman, inside and out. It’s fitting that her middle name is Grace. Although a brief meeting, I could see His light shining through....and that she’s just a fun gal to be around. You can feel it in her music and message as well. So, I’ve been doing a lot of something I don’t normally do: focus on ME, well at least where Instagram is concerned. I like being BEHIND the camera or computer screen, not the focus in FRONT. But, I think it’s important to get to know one another, don’t you?  In thinking about how I spend my “spare time”...I’m also realizing I don’t do much for me there either. I mean there is fellowship with hubby and church on Sundays and some time with fam and friends.  THIS season, however, it seems we are working SO much...even on the days we are meant to rest.  So this past couple of weeks I’ve been trying to get out and do something positive for me. I love being down the beach with friends. I love my workspace! Actually, I get to work in a few different places...outdoors with camera in hand, in front of my computer or laptop, designing...and down here in my studio, gallery wrapping + painting. I get some of my best ideas late at night, but ultimately work best after I ship hubby off to work late morning.  All I need is a cup of joe and some vibrant colors and I’m good to go. Although I’ve been getting my feet wet on Instagram for a bit, I thought it high time I make a friendly intro. I’d love to know you gals and guys better and give an insight into my biz too! Most clients would say I’m a creative and compassionate entrepreneur. I’d say my friends agree ‘cuz my clients often turn into friends too. :) I’m passionate about turning photos into art because it allows me to help my clients preserve their memories, or ignite their brands, in a very special and unique way. I’m inspired by the stories behind their photos. Some memories are happy, some sad, some embark on a new journey…some close a door. No matter the reason, some part of it is usually wrapped up in love. Despite the accolades and often tears that are met when a client sees the finished print for the first time, it’s usually ME who ends up walking away blessed the most. Many weekends you’ll find me in a creative collaboration huddle with my hubby…it’s just what happens when two creative peeps marry.  It’s tough to turn it off! Other days I’m hanging’ with fam and friends with a camera in my hand. On special (a.k.a. cheat) days, I’ll ditch the camera and pick up a Heath bar….guilty pleasure. So what about you?
