16: Your favourite games console?
Umm I have fond memories of the gamecube but that sounds too nostalgic. I really like my PS Vita also despite it not having a huge library, I usually use it for old PS classics and stuff. Aside from those I guess PC? Since I’m always on it but idk if that would be considered a console?
26: Most disappointing video game you've played?
Fable 3, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and maybe Soul Calibur 5. They just weren’t as good as previous entries of their series. (I feel like I shouldn’t go into detail on why cause I don’t want to make this too wordy but lmao I’m going to)
So fable 2 was one of my favorite games so I was really excited about fable 3, I watched like all the prerealse stuff so already their stuff was overhyped as usual but I think it was mostly the world wasn’t as fun as it was in 1 and 2 and I really didn’t like the story, you were like heavily penalized for being good and rewarded for being mean which is cool I guess if you’re trying to be deep and make you question your morals but it didn’t feel good so that really pissed me off.
And then for Dragon Age: Inquisition, again I really loved the first 2 games and their dlc and all that so I was really amped for this one. I didn’t get as into the prerelease stuff as that’s usually what sets my expectations high but from what I was reading about it is that they wanted to be more open world like skyrim which already didn’t sound really necessary for the series. Anyways, the game comes out, the combat is completely different from other games, all of my favorite spell trees were gone or really changed, the open world was just tooooooo open and it felt like an offline mmo just running around collecting shit for 3000000 hours, and I didn’t really like the characters in your party either. Except Vivienne and Varric (whom I didn’t like in 2 lol go figure), the advisers were all really cool though. That’s just my opinion though, I see everyone else has liked it so that’s cool too.
And since those were so long winded Soul Calibur 5, it had really awesome gameplay and really deep character creation but the story of all these like 20+ characters were dropped and just focused on 2 of them. I liked their story but I was upset everyone else’s was more or less dropped and they got rid of pretty much all of my favorite characters in the 17 year time skip.
29: One game you like and everyone else seems to hate?
I can’t really think of any. I don’t really hear a lot of negativity about the games I like as much as i used to. Like I remember no one liking FF X-2 because the more light hearted story after X and the female leads but I never hear that sort of talk anymore. And like The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, people didn’t like the celshaded graphics at the time but now it’s like another one of the greatest Zelda games around.
