Writing Pierce out of existence is certainly one of the things I would change about the Sith Warrior story since I despise Pierce. Though my idea of who replacing Pierce's role in the Sith Warrior's crew would be Captain Lorant, who is the only woman in Pierce's black ops team, and who deserves better than the disgusting ways both Pierce and the writers treat her. Lorant is certainly a major reason I hate Pierce.

One may argue that Pierce has a purpose in the narrative since his black ops team is responsible of conquering the Bastion, which would be the location of the final confrontation with Rakton in the Republic Trooper class story, but here is the thing: replacing Pierce with another member of the black ops team would make no difference in that plotline. The writers could make Lorant the leader of the black ops team instead of Pierce. This could give Lorant a better role than what the game’s canon give her.

There’s a shit ton of math in Shadowrun at first, but there’s programs like Chummer to make things more simple. There’s also a ton of Shadowrun novels, but as far as I know they’re all human centered.

Ah okay! Thank you so much! I’ll have to look into it! I know there were games on Steam but I wasn’t sure if they were actual RPGs or just for a tabletop simulator or what.

I guess you’re asking about Lana Beniko since our previous interactions were mainly about SWTOR. Anyway, thank you for the ask!

As a lesbian, I do find Lana’s existence important since she is literally the only canon wonen-loving woman character in SWTOR who is also a romance option and companion (Lemda is not a companion and she disappears after Makeb). It helps that I’ve always wanted to ship Doraava, my Sith Warrior and main, with a Sith woman, and before Lana came along none of the Sith woman NPCs are compatible with Doraava.

Unfortunately, as a character, I have to say that Lana’s writing and characterisation has been going downhill since KotFE. She disapproves of some Light Side options, but never to the point of turning against the player or challenging the player character’s power fantasy.

It seems like the writers want Lana to always stay with the player character regardless of the player’s decision in KotFE/KotET (whether or not this will still be the case in future SWTOR content remains to be seen). This is an unfortunate result of the one-size-fits-all nature of the writing of KotFE and KotET.

Something tells me that Jaesa will come back as super dark and evil, ignoring LS completely, and you'll fight her until she admits to how totally wonderful and powerful your character is.

I really hope this is not what will happen if BioWare brings her back. :\

I prefer not to think about the ways Jaesa’s character can be screwed up if she returns, because I don’t want to give BioWare ideas.
