Drops of Jupiter || Talan & Brynn

Saying Talan was distant from the Monarch social realm the past few weeks would be the understatement of the year. He was basically non existent in the eyes of his peers, but at least he had a reason for keeping to himself for awhile. He easily placed the blame on school work, considering finals were coming up and he'd be slacking on his studies, and he was also back into training mode for soccer since the weather was starting to get nicer, at least enough to run in the morning without getting frostbite. But he couldn't deny that he was keeping a distance to allow himself time to think about his current state of mind, which was mainly focused on his best friend and whatever their relationship had become so suddenly.

But it was about time that he snapped back to reality and joined the rest of the students in the highly anticipated count down to summer vacation. Talan was honestly surprised how easy it was to just go back to the normal level of social status that he was before he took some time to himself. Though he definitely wasn't surprised how easily he was able to start a conversation with Brynn, even though it had no subject manner and was just typical banter between the two of them. But he knew he didn't want to just talk about nonsense with her, he wanted to talk to her, or rather just be with her. There was an undeniable chemistry between the two of them, what would come of it, he didn't know but he was liking the direction he felt it going in.

So Talan went with the best thing he could think of to get her to come over, food. He was planning on ordering a pizza anyways, it wasn't exactly a surprise considering eating was his favorite subject to talk about. But he knew since he is was training, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to eat the whole thing by himself, making it the perfect way to ask Brynn to come over. Though he didn't think he really needed a reason to have the girl in his room. But he did it anyways and after she finally agreed, of course first denying the fact that she wanted to come over, he ordered the pizza and attempted to clean up his room as well as make himself look presentable. It didn't take long to do that, so he just waited patiently for Brynn to show up, not even trying to deny that his happiness level was probably through the roof on the thought of seeing her.
