colette lyon

Colette’s mother, Gabrielle Delacour, married a Honduran half-Veela. This makes Col more than half Veela, something she resents; she has never been sure if someone likes her for her personality or the spell her looks cast, and she is incredibly insecure because of it.

Col identifies as demigirl, though she presents very feminine.

gwenog jones

Gwenog Jones started quidditch relatively late for a magical child. She didn’t sit on a broom until she was nine. It was her father’s and she found it in her grandparents’ attic. She had been forbidden from it, but when had that ever stopped her before? She had grabbed the dusty handle without thinking about it and was unprepared for the tingle that passed through her firm grip. For Gwen, freedom was found that day.

Gwen is aromantic and has never felt the need for any sort of romantic partnership. She has her sister, a few close friends, and her teams–that’s all she needs.

Jake has two sisters, Esmé (who is almost ten years older) and Lilly. Lilly is a squib. The day he turned 17, so this past summer, Esmé came for Jake and Lilly at their parents’ house and now the three of them share a flat and life is wonderful.

Jake has been sailing since he was a child. He loves the sea more than anything and has his own small sail yacht, docked in Monte Carlo.

Reese’s father Roger married a witch in the Foreign Service, meaning Reese never had a home growing up; as soon as she felt at home in a place, they were uprooted and on a new assignment. She personally liked the nomadic lifestyle and the travel. Her father, a muggleborn, writes mystery novels.

Reese never intended to become and Unspeakable–she travelled for over a year after graduating from Hogwarts. When she returned, she had no idea what she wanted to do. Three weeks into a job at Flourish and Blotts, the Department approached her. Her marks on her NEWTs, as well as talents she had picked up in her travels (a knack for languages and an appreciation for the way magic is practiced in other parts of the world) had gotten their attention. She never expected to love it as much as she does.

I already have some relationships planned for the other three (though obviously I’m always looking for more!!) so I’ll just talk about Reese.

I really want more Unspeakables. They keep their personal and professional lives so separate, but what if someone crossed that? You don’t make friends with your coworkers in the Department. You just don’t. I think those relationships could be really interesting and rewarding.

What drew you to the rp? // What are some fun facts about yourself? // What are you most excited for?

I’ve been following Jules for a bit and everything she posts is golden, like I don’t know how she does it honestly. But so there was the SAB thing and I auditioned but didn’t get in and that was very sad so when IIDY crossed my dash I got really excited to have another chance to rp with Jules and Sarah and all the people I missed out on last time. Plus my own NextGen rp had just gone on an indefinite hiatus and I love the era so much I needed an outlet to explore it. The plot for IIDY is so original, especially in the NextGen world I just am very excited to have a chance to be part of it. //

I’m kidding, I know nothing about flags but it seemed like an appropriate joke. Fun fact: I love the big bang theory.

Hmm, I hate red velvet cake more than any other dessert, except anything with nuts in it. I mean, who wants brownies with nuts? It’s a texture thing, okay!?

I have a stepmom, she isn’t evil but I hate her anyway….because reasons.

EVERYTHING. Every facet of this rp, all the people OOC and IC. The characters look so incredible and even with just moodboards and playlists seem to have so much depth. I’m intimidated and I hope if I get in that my writing will be challenged and improved by rping with all of you guys.
