Midnight... sigh, who needs sleep when you could be up in the greenhouse doing Herbology extra credit?  Certainly that was more valuable than sleep. Well, at least it was to miss Jessica. The curly haired Gryffindor sat at the main table of the greenhouse lit with a glowing orb locked in her lantern, half reading, half attempting to make an extract from a potted Zebra Rose, and occasionally stopping and taking vigorous, detailed notes.

Suddenly a gust of wind tumbled through the open window, sending a page of the notes sailing to the corner of the cobblestone floor. The red head gasped lightly at the sudden movement, but sighed at realizing she had to stand up and walk all the way to the corner of the dark little room. Sneakers hit the floor with a light pat and squeaked with every groggy step she took until she stopped and stooped down under the table to pick up the-
