Foreign was the right word to describe how many of them felt at that particular time, especially the both of them. Travelling out of their comfort zone to deliver stages for international fans and listeners was something performers like them were used to, and the recurrent opportunities to do so was a thrilling one, yet they ought to feel lost during such occasions— where they were both at the back of the stage which was filled with performers from all around the world. At an instant, the voice of the male who stood at least a foot taller than her shook her off the momentarily daze that she was in, as she felt her facial muscles tensing up slightly at the sudden intrusion, gazing up towards the male in a fathomable manner. “Neither do I,” She responded briefly, raising her voice slightly as an attempt to overcome the booming music that was played through the speakers behind them. Tugging a small sheepish grin at the side of her lips, she proceeded. “Where are your members, by the way?”
Small talk had never been his forte, quiet among many and loud with his members only. The nervousness blanketing over him is hidden by the usual deadpan expression and collar of his sweater. Despite the numerous times they have performed on stage again as one, the feeling of adrenaline masked the previous year of difficulties and doubts. Language is a barrier to such foreign stages, can his feelings be expressed in both dance and music? It’s a wonder. But for now he’d distract himself with the conversation with his sunbae. His voice raising as he lowered his head down towards her, albeit a bit muffled due to his clothing. “ ah, i think- they went off to either grab the cordi noonas or interview? I don’t know- ” Mirroring her sheepish smile with one of his own though it was covered, unbeknownst to him. “ Do you have to preform soon? ”
