Hello! I never thought of SifKi as a pairing... Maybe because I haven't read much of the comics (marvel noob). What makes you like it so much?

I fell in love with them about nine months ago. I saw Thor 2, the Avengers and then Thor 1 (in that REALLY strange order). While I was watching Thor 2 (the movie I saw before any of the others), I immediately thought Sif was Loki’s girlfriend, and I thought this for like half the movie without realizing that it wasn’t “canon.” I just feel like there is a lot of unexplored chemistry there, I feel like they balance each other out wonderfully and they have this angsty, tragic romance thing about them that is very magnetic and that I can relate to. I can’t fully explain. It just happened instantly. It’s something that I feel.

I love all of the Thor characters and love the Marvel universe in general, but these two have my heart. They pulled me out of a deep depression I was in, and fully inspired me to be creative again.

Don’t beat yourself up about being a Marvel noob - I have a LONG way to go with all of the comics I want to read. You just find what characters make you the most happy, which ones you identify with, and go from there.
