the more I think about the books, the more I realize, that if Theodore and Ike simply just got together canonically (I don't mean my AUs), half of their traumas - possibly including his death - wouldn't happen.

Ike and Theo
I was talking about AU stuff some time ago about them, and well Theo really has a way with moving away the only people that try to bond with him from his life🥲 They are childhood friends, they met in the kindergarten, Ike is quite the sociable person so he ended up being the first (and only) Theo's friend ever, theyre very different from each other, WAY too different, Ike is kind and loves jokes, Theo is grumpy and hates jokes, they were almost made for each other.
Ike used to mention his siblings to Theo very often, but he never really showed them to him, Beatrix was always working, hanging out with friends or taking care of Quentin, speaking of the clumsy little guy, he is not a very good person when it comes to communication soo.. And he always had a bad feeling about Theo
But sometimes you need to get your hands dirty from time to time, Theo regrets it dearly, he mourns his friend everyday before sleeping. When he saw Quentin for the same time, his face looked too similar but also too different🤔

ok, here's a thing to address.
Quentin doesn't have an official last name in the games. neither games. no Hello Guest, no HN2. he isn't referred to as Gershowitz, ever.
Ike Quentin Cornelius Gershowitz was a character in the books, a night guard who POSSIBLY could be an earlier Quentin version.
that's why I started referring to the HG Quentin as Gershowitz, but in reality, it's just as canon as blue eyed Smith 🥲
I see many people just taking the name as if it was canon, no, it isn't.
