Ike/Roy Romantic Headcanons

oH MY GOD I ADORE THIS SHIP SO MUCH <3

This is probably one of my all time favourite ships as of rn and definitely my favourite boy x boy ship as of rn so I had to write headcanons <3

- Literally no one knows how they ended up together.

- Not even them. ("Just because I ended up with Ike doesn't mean I know how I did it!")

- Both love each other unconditionally though

- Ike isn't a massive fan of being romantic in public, so he prefers to be romantic to Roy in private.

- Roy on the other hand is more open to public affection, and will gladly hug Ike in public

- Marth and Daisy will definitely gently tease the two when it comes to Roy being romantic in public, but nothing too major.

- Everytime before a battle, Roy will say something to Ike to try and lift his spirits, you'd think they're motivational quotes, but no, it's always stupid stuff like: "Workplace injuries and deaths are preventable. If there is a random zombie attack, run like a motherfucker."

- "Roy you haven't been getting enough sleep have you?"

- "...No."

- Roy often tries cooking for Ike too. Unfortunately I h/c Roy as a terrible cook so Ike often tries to keep him away from the kitchen.

- Ike, once again, isn't exactly too big on being romantic in public, but he does small things for Roy to show his affection.

- Like, once a week he will place his favourite flowers in a vase for him or make a flower crown for him.

- Ike also likes to write personal love notes for Roy, and just attaches them to his pillow for him to read.

- Ike can sometimes get a little protective of Roy, and always keeps an eye on him.

- Which is probably a good idea because Roy seems like the type of guy who'd use bleach instead of water when it comes to plants

- Whenever Roy falls asleep somewhere that isn't his bed, Ike will either carry him to Roy's room or his own room.

- But then Ike also has to prevent Roy from eating bath bombs.

- TL/DR: Roy is a mess, Ike loves him
