Erwin is a wizard who has been reincarnated over and over again. Levi is a vampire who always waits for him. Because it's by Sable, it's sexy, funny and tender.

Ikichi8 is the first Eruri fan artist I came across and they're still one of my favorites. I love their realistic artwork and storytelling.

Their Erwin and Levi (and all the Vets) look like soldiers and their age. They pay great attention to detail from the mechanics of the ODM gear to the height and breadth of the Walls. The stories are powerful. My favorites in this collection are Boys! Fly against the Wind, Eruri from an outsider's POV, and Journey to the Heaven, where Erwin escapes and Levi searches for him.

I heart doujin 82

I suck, it’s fine

First up is Virgin Soil by Ikichi8 https://myreadingmanga.info/ikichi8-virgin-soil-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ I LOVE this doujin-- it’s right after Erwin loses his arm, which is a common theme, but this one I think really gets into Levi’s head (the worries he would have had come up to Erwin waking up), thoughtfulness around a new disability (both for the injured person and their partner) and just in general is great.  It also has the classic eruri snark which we all know and love, plus the art is amazing (little things, like the way fingers cling to fabric, that moment of hesitation before leaving a room, just class).  This Erwin reminds me a lot of my Erwin that I do in RP in that he’s a big dork so that may be why I’m a bit biased.  Check this one out it’s 10/10.

Next is Now that Once Upon a Dream by kaico no kasumi https://myreadingmanga.info/kaico-no-kasumi-now-that-once-upon-a-dream-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ This one is just a sweet slice of life after the titan war is over and the eruris have retired.  It’s nice to see them in a sweet, peaceful life, but I think you can still tell that they carry a lot of trauma from their pasts.  Still, I like to see them happy and relaxed.  Nothing groundbreaking here but it’s charming- check it out if you want. I’ll try and do these more regularly now that more doujin have been released so please be patient with me.

First up is Holiday Birthday, The Day by ikichi8 https://myreadingmanga.info/ikichi8-tkjn-holiday-birthday-the-day-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ So this one is cute, it’s Levi and Erwin spending a few days off together around Erwin’s birthday.  Levi is a mama hen, Erwin is a dork.  There is one point where Erwin is a bit gross, but other than that there aren’t any major problematic areas and you get both beardwin and beardvi.  Check it out!

Next is Erwin Smith Birthday Pack by kaico no kasumi https://myreadingmanga.info/kaico-no-kasumi-erwin-smith-birthday-pack-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ It’s just some short vignettes about Erwin’s birthday, it’s cute!  One of them has a cute youngwin, that sort of thing.  They’re both smol and precious.

So this one is called Spiral by M Beikokuten https://myreadingmanga.info/m-beikokuten-rasenjo-no-xx-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/3/ This one was actually written in 2014, so after Erwin loses his arm but waaaay before Erwin dies.  It’s suuuuuper trippy and fucked up, I love it!  It’s got a real twisted take on Levi’s mental health, his perception of Erwin, their relationship etc.  This one is in three parts, do check it out!

Next up is Where the Wheel Tracks Go by ikichi8 https://myreadingmanga.info/ikichi8-tkjn-where-the-wheel-tracks-go-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ So this is a premise I love to see examined, basically Erwin gets trapped beyond the walls, and Levi risks himself to save him.  I really like Ikichi8′s take on Erwin, the dorky yet brilliant leader who Levi simultaneously wants to kill because he’s such a dork but also adores despite himself.  There’s lots of sweet little body language moments throughout, and we get the origin story of Levi’s horse!  (Erwin’s horse is called Sprinkles).  Check this one out!

I’m sorry for the haitus.  I still heart danchou and all of you, I’ve just been in depression hole *party hat* But enough about that!  Here are new doujins for you!

First up is I want you by ikichi8 https://myreadingmanga.info/ikichi8-i-want-you-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ I really do like this artist, a lot of the more recent scanlations are from her.  This one isn’t anything special in terms of emotional impact or anything like that, but it’s your classic dorkwin and dorkvi trying to understand one another in the comfortable silence that passes between them. It’s cute, it’s got screen-peen, what more could you ask for?

https://myreadingmanga.info/ikichi8-the-first-camp-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ Next is an entry to a ‘first time anthology’ for Levi and Erwin again from ikichi8.  It does what it says on the cabin (in a pg13 way) it’s the first time Erwin and Levi sleep together.  It’s short and sweet and part of a larger project which I can’t find, so guess what you get another doujin free of charge!

So this one is silent impulse, also by ikichi8 XD https://myreadingmanga.info/ikichi8-silent-impulse-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ It’s sort of about the last hours before everyone heads off to the return to shingashina. I think this one is a bit of a missed opportunity in terms of angst and reflection, but it’s not bad by any means.  check it out if you want, and I’ll be back with more hearting doujin later this week.

Three today!  Why not. So first up is The Noonday Sun by ikichi8

https://myreadingmanga.info/ikichi8-tkjn-the-noonday-sun-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ I like this artist!  She’s relatively new on the doujin scene and seems to still be into actually making new eruri content even though Erwin’s been dead for like 5 years XD.  This one’s about a stifling hot day, the eruris dealing with the weight of dealing with deceased SC member’s families, and just getting to know one another.  The sex scene is pretty good and I love how dorky, sweet, and kinda vulnerable Erwin is.  Then is Brackish Water, also by ikichi8

https://myreadingmanga.info/ikichi8-brackish-water-attack-on-titan-dj-eng/ In this one Erwin takes Levi on a river cruise, sort of at the start of their getting to know each other and their relationship.  I do like how ikichi8 explores their attachment, and how it manages to stay pretty IC for both of them.  Her art is also lovely and reminds me of sable’s, a little? Speaking of sable, we also have her relatively new doujin, Schrodinger’s Nest Box
