While he did complain openly to anyone close to him at the time, Namil had his go to girl when he really needed to get stuff off his chest. He believed that he was also a big help for her (he hoped so anyway, he doesn't like owing people after all) whenever she needed him. Namil wasn't as close with idols, mainly because they never really did like him in the first place but it was different with Jisoo. For some reason, she hadn't let his bluntness and asshole acts stop her from befriending him. He wouldn't ever admit it but he was glad that they had become friends. He was even more glad in moments like this , when he just wanted to kill anyone who dared look at him in the eyes.

Whenever either of them felt like crap, they always met at the same food stall (a bit isolated to make sure Jisoo wouldn't get recognized) and drank ; it was almost like a ritual at this point. After making quick plans the day before, they had planned to meet up there the night after so, here he was. To make the girl's life easier, he had come 10 minutes earlier (his reasoning was that, they could have been caught going there together) than the planned meeting time. Wearing all black with bright blonde hair, he figured she could spot him easily so going together wasn't necessary anyway.
