sickness//miyeon&hyunwoo
miyeon’s text mentioning she wouldn’t be at the studio today because of a fever took hyunwoo by surprise and worry. neither of which were about the upcoming album being complete, but rather for her wellbeing. which is why he immediately replied with a text saying he was coming over. though the girl played a crucial part in what they were working on, he’d rather have her rest. whether she agreed to the idea or insisted for him to stay away because she didn’t want him to get sick- it didn’t matter to the male. he was far too persistent.
they met through the studio, the two’s friendship tied in with their work relationship, and the male admired the younger for her amazing creativity when it came to lyrics- sometimes even placing a bit of envy on her for the imagination she was able to muster up at the times he couldn’t. they’d grown close through their passions, although her love for writing seemed to be self found while his was more founded for him by others. nonetheless, it was something they both had shared starting from when they were young.
hyunwoo enjoyed seeing the way miyeon so simply, yet naturally, lighted up and remained so radiant and energetic and fully committed to the work they did together. it somehow made even the slowest days behind the soundboard seem a little faster.
knuckles knocked a few times on the door, other hand waiting by his side and holding a plastic bag that carried a container of soup and some other foods he got for pickup from some family restaurant on the way. a hum coming from his lips, and a tap of his foot on the floor, as shifty eyes looked around, awkwardly observing the surroundings to the other’s home. he waited.
