nb swoc things I want to incorporate more/do soon:

- characters saying explicitly "I'm nonbinary (/agender/genderfluid/etc)". I want to use these terms and idgaf if they're In The Star Wars Dictionary or not; surely they've come up with gender words just like we have. This is not currently much of a thing because I've mostly just written Revanna, who doesn't like talking about it and doesn't really get their gender, and Ikruss who doesn't have a lot of people they can safely talk about it with.

- write Ozma, Geoffrey, and the Nautolan oc that I haven't named (note: name that oc. Also note: give Geoffrey a second name or nickname.) Also write more Annie.

- Revanna and Ikruss have a lot of gender angst due to circumstances: that's important but I want some of my other ocs to *not* have that and to be happy, open, and supported, and to normalize their identities.

- pronouns! Other than Ozma everyone has 'she/they' or just 'they' pronouns. I think Geoffrey should have he/she/they and my Nautolan oc might have neopronouns? I want diversity here.

- more nb ocs because nb characters are good.

❤: who is more affectionate in public? in private?

Maketh would be more affectionate in public, but only by a little. I don’t know if they’re ever really out in public together, and if they were it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to be affectionate or bring attention to themselves. They’re Republic fugitives and the Alliance doesn’t exactly like Ik either.

In private..I think Ikruss is a bit more affectionate. Maketh lives with Kallus most of the time and is a lot less isolated in general, whereas Ikruss is on their own when not with her. Ik is very starved of affection, so once they have a safe person to initiate contact with, they do. A lot.

💘: who developed a crush on the other first?

IKRAAVA THE GAY DISASTER. Maketh was being investigated as a potential deserter at the time they met, so she was a little distracted :P But Ik fell in love pretty quick.

💓: who initiates most physical contact?

They both initiate a lot! But Ik a little more probably, for the above reasons.

💛: who believes in soulmates?

Maketh kinda does, I think. I mean, from her perspective this inquisitor who was supposed to be investigating her started to care about her and ended up protecting her and helping her escape from the Empire. For someone who’s losing hope and faith in the Empire and is close to death, that’s some guardian angel shit.

13: What kind of situations does your OC avoid the most?

As an inquisitor, for a long time, Ikruss main goal is to avoid pissing off Vader or Palpatine. Because if they do piss one of their bosses off, they’re in big trouble. Inquisitors are punished harshly for failure. So Ikruss does whatever they can, whatever they need to, to not get in trouble. Which isn’t too hard: they’re good at their job, obedient, and mostly successful. But sometimes it necessitates doing really awful things (it’s part of the job) or throwing fellow imperials under the bus. 

As they begin to have doubts about the Empire, Ikruss cares less about not getting in trouble and more about protecting their fellow potential deserters, and not getting killed before they can all get out. So they try to avoid anything that would compromise them or Maketh and Kallus more, as well as situations that would strain their precarious moral position and give them away. Getting into one of these situations is what eventually causes them to leave the Empire, I think.

If Ikruss knew Anakin had become Vader she’d be so angry. She hates Vader from the bottom of her soul and thinks he’s a monster, that he’s always been a monster.

She didn’t know Anakin personally, but what padawan didn’t look up to General Skywalker, the hero without fear - the chosen one, some rumors said. He was a role model, someone to look up to when the fighting was hard and you were terrified for yours and your master’s lives, when clones fell around you in almost every fight and all you wanted to do was go back to the Temple and be a kid again.

For a Jedi to willingly become a leader in the Empire and operate with such ruthlessness would disgust Ikruss alone, but for such a hero. She had heard about him - brave, reckless, compassionate, noble. But now he kills and tortures for his master, looms over the inquisitors to keep them in line. She would kill him if she knew. She would kill him.
