4. What type of discipline was your character subjected to at home? Strict? Lenient?
kind on in between- his parents were strict enough, sure, but they had several children to take care of and with time the rigidity of the household relaxed significantly, which resulted in him having a very strong sense of propriety but also a wide-eyed enthusiasm about all sorts of things
7. What was the economic status of their family?
relatively middle class. his parents were weatherhawks so they did relatively well, but again, that income spread between a family of six becomes significantly less. still, it was a comfortable childhood
16. What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like about it? Dislike?
for the most part he wanders around and studies plants and wildlife, often scavenges and sells food and medicines and such to fund his expeditions. he has no real goal, just wants to Know the World. prefers the term “natural investigator” over “homeless biologist”. he doesn’t appreciate how lonely it gets sometimes, but on the flipside you get to meet all sorts of people when you never stay in the same place
22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?
implying he has friends. overall though, it’s not a difficult bar to reach, he’ll get along with just about anyone that’s willing to share a night’s worth of drinks or a day’s worth of research. in terms of partners, ilhos is mostly searching for a kindred spirit- someone with the same passions as him, whatever those may be, someone who’s knowledgeable about the same fields, someone who inspires him to think harder about his life and his work
23. What do they want from a partner? What do they think and feel of sex?
i feel like. i may have answered that first half already bu t. being a Fucking Virgin he doesn’t really care much about sex one way or another. he was definitely raised to view it as something special, something precious you share with only one person, and a lot of that still lingers. does his best to just not think about it until there’s an Actual chance to develop that kind of bond
27. How do they relate to their appearance? How do they wear their clothing? Style? Quality?
he dresses very traditionally, lots of long robes and subtle patterns and colors. most of his clothing is relatively well made and he does his best to maintain it well, but because of his travels he often looks pretty rumpled. a dignified state of disarray. he’s just learned to live with it lmao
40. How is their sense of humor? Do they have one?
very prominent and easy, but also incredibly innocent. lots of wordplay and logic but pretty much nothing dirty ever
42. What does your character want most? What do they need really badly, compulsively? What are they willing to do, to sacrifice, to obtain?
satisfaction. ilhos has a drive to constantly be better, constantly be learning and developing. it’s what made him leave home in the first place, but in the end he simply wants to be happy with his life. he doesn’t quite realize it but he’ll get there eventually

very tall for sure, about 6′4. he has pretty broad shoulders and skinny lil hips but that’s okay with him because he’s got absolutely d i v i n e leg muscles from all that walking. his posture isn’t the greatest because he has to hunch over a lot so he gets the occasional back pain but he’s pretty comfortable with himself over all
