I am genuinely confused i am seeing people like "I think that in an upcoming episode Steven will shatter someone" like really?? Next on cartoon network, a child is forced to literally permanently kill someone with his own hands???

yeah, i think the show’s gonna avoid that one. a lot of steven’s story has been acknowledging that there’s a reason for all the awful things that happened in the past, but he’s still gonna try to fix things. no matter what the other crystal gems say. 

a big point of the show, i think, is being subversive in a positive way. a part of that is acknowledging why horrible things happen, but trying to work through it and find better solutions in the end. 

rebecca sugar once said that above all the theoryposting and discussions, the people who call the show “cozy” are the ones who get it. at the end of the day, i think steven universe is a positive, uplifting show, and the world and characters of the show will end up a better place than when it started.

I love the fake dating trope but I never read it cuz people always make it stressful and not fluffy? What is the appeal

y e a h people gravitate towards The Suffering, but it always ends up being, like, situational instead of emotional... I guess it’s a monstrous pillar upon which the entire trope Is Built, that there has to be some emotionally exhausting fallout in which an ensemble cast exacerbates The Drama, I’m sure no dearth of folks absolutely eat up that specific Drama, but it’s.... not for me.....

You are asking a bunch of questions that are pretty much impossible to even hint at answers to without severe spoilers, this last few posts. This just builds up your readers' anticipation for you getting further along, we feed on the emotional energy of your mindblown gifs. Also, while they happen very fast, slicing the Black Queen's ring finger off to depower her and then obliterating her are two separate actions.

Yeeeeeeah, @friendlyneighborhoodmadscientist, @ilikethislotsperson, and @ericvilas sent me the same thing about Jack vs. Black Queen. I think something happened when I last watched the flash and I got confused. Thanks to all of you for pointing that out.

And, well, I like to phrase my theories in the form of questions because I always feel the need to acknowledge that my theories could be wrong. If there’s one thing I’m 100% sure of, it’s that I’m not 100% sure of anything. It keeps me grounded, so when I am wrong about some prediction, it’s easy for me to accept it and move on. It also keeps me from latching onto something I want to be true, so I can keep an open mind about everything. 

But also, I love asking questions like that because of what you said, it builds up the anticipation. I figure, I’ve got a long way to go, and I want to make this as exciting as possible for all of you.
