Breaking out of an extended art funk to show off a few OC-based (possible) portfolio pieces I've been working on- based around "Hell on Earth", an OC-story brain baby that I've had in my head for ages.
Basic concept: A guy finally breaks out of literal Divine Comedy-style Hell after over a decade, only to find out that there's demons (and other mythological creatures) on Earth now too, so him and his nibling start a demon hunting business. Stuff happens, and a demon civil war just kinda. goes on in the background.
Mainly a character sheet, outfit design, and some fake storyboards. Definitely still have some fine-tuning to do if I can, but still pretty cool.

It sounded promising until I got to the "â we use the term women+ â (is) self selecting. If you feel that you belong in a feminine space, we want you to feel welcome here" But I shared it for anyone wants to give it a try.

Park City women with a passion for the outdoors gathered at the Stio on Main Street on Wednesday evening to learn about ILLA, a company that connects women based on their interests.
âI just want to say, thank you guys for coming out,â said Tana Hoffman, the founder of ILLA, who drove down from her home in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
Fifteen women gathered around as she explained how ILLAâs app works.
âYou create a profile and you can find other skiers, snowboarders, bikers, mountain bikers, climbers, surfers, whatever you love to do, depending on your area,â she said.
Based on your profile, members receive notifications when, for example, another person pings for a ski partner on a coming day. Those available or interested are thrown into a group chat to plan their own adventure. Itâs a cross between a friendship dating app and a Facebook group.Â
Mirmanda, illustrated by Anna Ribot-Urbita for the 2017 calendar of Catalan mythology.
The most famous mythical city in the Catalan legends is Mirmanda. This is believed to be one of the oldest cities in the world, which was built by giants and inhabited by encantades (women from Catalan mythology who live in fresh water and live for hundreds of years).
The saying is that âwhen Barcelona was a meadow, Mirmanda was already a cityâ (âQuan Barcelona era un prat, ja Mirmanda era ciutatâ). The ancient city of the encantades was located next to the small canyon of the Cantarana river near the town of Terrats, in Northern Catalonia. Back then, the riverâs water flowed with gold and silver.
But the city was destroyed by a flood or a tsunami of water arriving from the sea. Since then, Mirmanda is invisible to human eyes, only the encantades and the few farmers who have gained the encantadesâ trust are able to see it.

Itâs believed that the legends of this ancient city might have originated in the presence of prehistorical megalithic dolmens and menhirs found around the area, as well as the clay cliffs that in the Catalan language are called âxemeneies de les fadesâ (âfairiesâ chimneysâ).
