We have all had that experience of trying to find the nicest way to say no or make an excuse because there’s a sense that some men’s ego has to go before our right to decline and we do this to protect ourselves. We’ve all laughed at the joke of how men turn so mean when they’re rejected and suddenly the same women they thought was a Queen is every filthy name they can spit. They tell us no means no.
