Why I’m eadrik AF
I love Kile. I’d be perfectly happy with Eadlyn choosing Kile. I think there would be some issues since he’s wanted nothing more than to get out of the palace for the past 19 odd years of his life but...I can see it and I ship it.
BUT
If it was Kile that she thought of when talking to Camille, why didn’t she say his name in her mind?
I mean, we know she likes him, has admitted she likes him, but Eadlyn is VERY vocal with her thoughts. The reason we didn’t get a name is because it SUPRISED her to think of this person. It was SHOCKING to her.
What could be more freaking shocking than her falling for SOMEONE NOT IN THE SELECTION?
That is my reason Eikko/Erik stands a chance in this thing.
And what freaking better way to open up to the public, to show her heart and feelings, than admitting the truth? That she has fallen in love with boy that moved from Swendway who didn’t enter the selection because he wasn’t worthy of the crown.
What did Maxon say to America once? (I think it was Maxon...) That not wanting the crown probably means you are the best person for it.
If that doesn’t change your mind, his name means peaceful ruler.

Hi guys! I just wanted to say a few things that have been on my mind for awhile now. This past year, being in college has opened my eyes to some things about myself and the way I hold myself and appear to others, and I've really been struggling with it. Being on my own and away from my parents' eyes made me someone I didn't like. And I'm trying really hard to change that, and I think it's beginning to work. I just want to apologize. If I've ever come off as bitter, or as hypocritical (I get that from my dad holy crap I love that man but SERIOUSLY), or if I appear to hold myself above any of you, I deeply and sincerely apologize. I do not like that person at all, and I know that's been me in the past. To my networks, i am so sorry for being completely uninvolved in the discussions you all so eagerly hold. I want to be your guys' friend. I want to talk to you all. I want to get excited about books and stuff. My friends at school make fun of me for having so many books and getting excited over the fact that Clary and Jace kissed at midnight when a beautiful golden flower opened. None of them get it. But you guys do. And I want to be more involved in the fandom(s). So, if any of you have any bitter feelings towards me because I've basically come off as an asshole, I'm asking you to forgive me and give me another chance. Love, Susanna

On the New Year
2015.
Sounds like the setting from a sci-fi movie.
Oh wait.
It is.
All that being said, I think this year is going to be enormous. Not necessarily globally. I'm not sure what will happen globally or nationally, even. It could be a very boring year, overall, because the Presidential elections and the Olympics and such aren't until next year.
I think it's going to be an incredible personal journey for me this year. I don't know. I just have that feeling, you know? When you just...you know that something big is going to happen, and you have no idea what it is, but your intuition tells you it's big? That's what I feel. Truthfully, I'm scared. I've done some things in the past few years that I'm not proud of. All I want to do is forget those things.
Forgive me, non-religious readers, for a moment. This next paragraph is going to be very...weird if you don't whole heartedly believe in God and His involvement in the world. Feel free to skip to the next paragraph. Anyway. I honestly feel that God has forgotten those things. It's me that's holding onto the sin and dwelling on it. The Bible says that when we repent, God forgives and tosses the sin into the sea like it never existed. I honestly believe that He has, because I have repented of this sin. But I think that maybe Satan is waving it in my face, because just thinking about what I did makes me feel sick inside and ashamed and regretful. But at the same time, the aftermath of this sin is a stronger relationship with God, if you can believe it. Do I think God is glad that I sinned? No! Of course not. But I am fully dependent and reliant on God because of it, and I think He is glad of that.
My hope for 2015 is this: Respect. All around. It makes me very sad to see people, especially on Tumblr, disrespecting each other and bullying each other and hating each other for different beliefs. Yes. Some people are Republican. That needs to be respected. Some people are atheist. That needs to be respected. Some people are vegan. That needs to be respected.
Tumblr-ians (I think I just made that up) are very, very hateful. And mean. Everyone gets so angry because no one listens to anyone on Tumblr, but do you know why no one listens? Because the things Tumblr users are fighting for are fought for in incredibly disrespectful ways. They're fought for by tearing the other side of the issue down, and I am so sorry, but no one in the real world is going to listen to you if all you do is cuss and get angry. No one wants to work with someone who is going to disrespect anyone who disagrees with them.
Republicans are Republicans for a reason. Many of them have conservative values and they are very proud of those values. Just because you don't agree with those values doesn't mean said values are material for ridicule. Vegans are vegans for a reason. Many vegans value animal lives very highly and are very empathetic to the animals that fall victim to the meat industry. I'm not vegan, and I don't value animal lives as highly, but you know what? There are people that do. And that's okay. I respect that. I'm a very strong Christian, but I respect those who aren't.
There is nothing wrong with a civil argument. I mean, gosh, anyone who knows me knows that I love to argue for argument's sake--as long as it's respectful. If you want to jump into my inbox one day and have an argument with me about the origin of the universe, you are so welcome to. I will respect your beliefs, even though they are not mine.
And if any of you have any questions as to why I am the way that I am, I would love to tell you. And I would love to hear about your guys' lives and your opinions and your beliefs. It's part of what makes us all different, and different is okay. Different should be celebrated!
I love you all so so very much. I value each and every one of you, and I hope and pray that we can be close friends and that you can feel that you can talk to me any time, of any day, about anything.

Hi guys! So, this is the first chapter of my book, The Elder's Guard! It's about a girl named Emmeline who has been attending an academy for assassins since she was five years old. I can't tell you much more than that without giving some things away, but it is dystopian and it's full of adventure. For you romance buffs, there is definitely romance in here but please know that romance is not the focus of the book. My goal in infusing romance in here is to demonstrate more realistic relationship development.
