LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Roses are red, violets are blue - boy, have we got the party for you! Valentine’s Day is coming up, and we can already smell the roses and chocolate hearts. Everybody on the island is invited to our annual Valentine’s Day Masquerade. NOTE: Since this is a masquerade ball, your character is required to wear formal clothing (e.g. suits, ball gowns) and a mask that may conceal their identity completely, or a regular eye mask.

The Valentines’ BALL will take place on February 13th at 5pm EST via Chatzy. A link will be posted on the main for characters to enter through. Please inform us prior to the event if you will be unable to attend, so that we may have an idea on numbers.

FROM PEN TO PAPER

Everyone on this island has a story to tell, and you are no exception. We’re all configured with the ghosts that haunt us, the fears that follow us, the memories that enlighten us and the dreams that inspire us. Each and everyone person is different, which what makes this so important - it’s time to grab out your notebooks, and start writing. It’s time we get to know each other a little better. 

The PROMPT task will be a narrative that is inspired by the picture prompt below. Members are free to make their piece in any format they like (as a letter, a one-shot, written as first person or third person - from someone else’s perspective entirely, whatever you choose! It’s completely up to you!) You may even choose to incorporate other characters into your task (with member permission, of course). However, we ask that pieces be no shorter than 300 words, but there will be no maximum. The written pieces should be posted before February 7, and this task is compulsory for all characters to complete.
