he’s a spirit that comes from a dimension attached to the world dyrrvegr, where saewig is from, by its moon. he ends up on dyrrvegr by accident and is found by saewig when they’re both about 15, and illian spends the next 5 years with him slowly becoming more human. he starts off very flat, spirits don’t experience emotions the way humans do, but eventually grows into someone with a lot of hidden fire as humanity, and saewig, changes him
