Visiting Tierra Luna Gardens

back from jalisco! 🇲🇽 it’s always hard returning from mexico but i’m thankful for the beautiful memories

of course, one of those memories was visiting the dreamy carousel from tierra luna gardens! located by the garza blanca resort, the botanical gardens are open to the public

originally from north america, the carousel is an illions inspired reproduction

i have never seen a gorgeous white & gold carousel such as this one, did it arrive in mexico this way ?? was it a personal commission ??

this is the horse i felt the most drawn to and ended up riding, a lovely outside row jumper decorated in jewels!

none of the horses or menagerie had names, i’d love to give the jeweled jumper one but that process has to come to me naturally lmao

the mirror detailing was absolutely mesmerizing

typically carousels will display paintings and carver logos within the oval shaped frames but the mirror decor is very beautiful and unique

was sad walking away from the carousel but also very thankful, until we meet again!
