Insomnia is wild. 🥱😴😵 Last night, I never fell asleep. I tried for hours and hours. I finally fell asleep this morning at 11:30AM. Then I slept some shitty sleep until 4:30PM. It’s after 10PM. And I have no idea how I’m still awake. I take a ton of medications that cause drowsiness and I also take a lot of medications to help me sleep. When I found out about EDC a little over a month ago, I was back and forth between doing Camp EDC and by the time I decided to go for it they were sold out. I was super sad but tried refreshing the browser a few times and the desert rose option had one remaining that opened up. Although it was more expensive, I went for it anyway and don’t regret my decision at all! Camp EDC was so worth it! I was able to go in and out of the festival, my tent was very close to the entrance, there was always something going on! Although I didn’t get to take advantage of everything, it was still worth it and I had an amazing time and better yet, I made a lot of new friends some of whom I will be visiting when I drive through Cali! There were a few hiccups though - check in wasn’t very efficient, they ran out of pillows, my air mattress had a tiny hole in it that I was able to find the last day and plug it with a sticker I got lol and the tents were like an oven during the day, but we really lucked out with the weather lol as soon as we left the grounds it started raining.
