Is your media studies program more like cut and dry journalism/broadcast/tv/advertising kind of stuff or more of a cultural studies/sociological approach to media? Curious bc my Comm program is really heavily critical theory based and idk what it's like elsewhere.
mine is more into like the critical theory, and like right now im taking a class on ethics within media and another class about being media literate.
#thats cool to know how it is for others in the same major#like i wish it was more on the broadcast side because that what i want to get into#but i dont know#maybe i should have picked a different school#like ive had one class about like filming and editing but like we barely touched on the basics in that class#ive also taken a journalism and marketing class but those were technically under those other majors#i responded#illuminaliens
