Holmes give his client a simple promise that he take his request as the client thank him and left. Holmes after the fight with NULL have began his consulting business again. His office being his own apartment as he observe the details the client gave him. Picture of previous victims who got their stuff stolent in board day light.
The currency most people use in this city. Dust is a virtue currency. So there no big worry of having your money rob as the problem is people still wear jewelry. Jewelry have been disappearing in a certain area in the Golden ward as there was rumor of a master thief at work. Of course the police have much bigger fish to fry then just a simple thief as a victim called in Holmes to break the case.
Holmes objective is not to CATCH the thief per se. He just need to make sure the objective of his client request. [For the Thieving to stop] achieve. He take his wooden cane with him out of the door as on his way to the golden district. He laid out baits. He gave a couple of people with treasure he recover in other case and put a certain kind of hard to spot ink on said treasures that almost impossible to wash away.. Holmes is counting on his mystery thief unknowingly getting ink on their hands while trying to steal the treasure as Holmes carry some on himself also.
Now.....would the trap be sprung or the thief sensing something wrong and be more on edge?
