Something came up in the gaiden that I hadn't really thought about before, and I thought it was pretty interesting! So I wanted to share with y'all. I don't think it really counts as a spoiler, since it doesn't effect the plot (unless maybe you haven't read past volume 12 of DK), but I'll put it behind a cut anyway.
Rath says he doesn't want all the things he "stole" from the Dragon Tribe--the Fire Dragon, Light Dragon, etc. But he says he doesn't mind Crewger. Because technically he IS Illuser, there's no way he could have killed Illuser, so now he's looking after Crewger.
For some reason, until now, my mind never put it together that he was close to Crewger because he was Illuser. Somehow, I think I'd always kind of assumed it was the other way around--that the Dragon Lord had assigned Crewger to look after Rath, or something like that.
Anyway, I like that new information like this can still pop up. Any one else have any thoughts on this?
