When I was a kid I was captivated by Alphonse Mucha’s completely bonkers approach to hair. It defies gravity! It dominates the frame! I never really got over the obsession. This piece is shamelessly derivative, but I wanted to see if I could make an art nouveau-inspired piece that nevertheless looks like something of mine. (And honestly, even in my regular work, my favourite thing to draw is hair!)
I actually drew this back in December, and I was only semi-happy with it, but I have this new technique I've been playing around with which allows me to alter images to punch up the outlines. I fixed this one yesterday, and I think it looks more like a turn-of-the-century lithograph now.
Alpaca School
Hi everyone! I understand EFA does not respond to ask immediately; in fact it takes a long time for an ask to be answered. Luckily, there is an amazing site that FireAlpaca is behind to help anyone in need! It is called Alpaca School, where it has basic tutorials for beginners on how to use FA!
Once again, I apologize for late responses; I hope this site can help answer your questions a lot faster than EFA. If any issues rise and you wish to ask EFA, you are free to ask <3!

Now.. here’s some of my shitty college stuff. THIS STUFF IS FROM 2017!! These are like the most current pieces of art.. however this was something from Winter semester.. like from Jan-April. :)) I know it’s boring and nothing like fanbase centered.. but I thought that these ones I did okay on. BE LUCKY I’M EVEN POSTING IT… I was told the stuff wasn’t very good and it was very discouraging... here are some paintings I did for my Illustration Tech. class. We had to make a still life of our own objects.. and I used my plush Foxy, Sunglasses from To The Stars... and then my Ocarina of Time Link amiibo, and then finally my little Jinx from LoL!
done in acrylic paint.. :))
Create a Balanced Color Palette
A simple and effective way to balance a color palette, by Cpresti. I’ve used this and I really like it!
(A cheap shortcut is to just throw on a Color Balance layer over everything, but this is better)
