IG fan club - Movie Night

The Illustration Geeks fan club will be having a movie night on February 19 from 6-8 pm at the Jan Dempsey. Anyone 10 and up is invited to attend providing you can behave.  Please RSVP by Friday, February 13 at 10 pm.  

EVERYONE will have to a SIGNED Auburn Recreational Center waiver listing that they are attending a IG function (ie: movie night).  Your parent MUST sign the form.

No Anime at Hastings

So I walked to Hastings to rent the beloved "Squid Girl" only to find out that our Hastings had gone from a pretty EPIC anime rental section to a lowly shelf....  It was disappointing and sad as I know I and many of the fan club kids rented a lot of cool stuff from them.  The manager said it was corporate's decision.  I wish I had know they were selling so much stuff off as I would have been first in line.

So instead of "Squid Girl" we will be watching "Naruto Shippuden: The Movie" which is rated PG 13 for violence and blood.  And yes, there will still be candy.

The Illustration Geeks fan club will NOT be meeting on 02/06 due to the Jan Dempsey Arts Center being closed to set up for the Empty Bowls event.

Remember you must have a signed Auburn Rec Dept Winter 2015 (filled out each quarter) and a signed IG participation 2014-2015 waiver (filled out yearly). This term there will be a $5.00 per child club fee to help defray expenses.

Just a reminder that there will be NO MORE Illustration Geeks fan club meetings until January 2015.  I will send out a reminder email when it gets closer to time to invade the Dempsey again.
