「A STRANGE MONTH - continuation」 Sul blog trovi la Galleria Botanica di marzo. Oramai anche questo mese è quasi finito. Un mese strano, fatto di incertezze e paure. Dal mio punto di vista, questo periodo era caratterizzato da fiere e mostre mercato. A causa dell'emergenza sanitaria da Covid-19, questi eventi non si potranno tenere, compresi i miei 🙈 A questo proposito sono nate due bellissime iniziative che hanno lo scopo di mostrare le eccellenze del florovivaismo italiano e molto altro: • @inbellamostra, un’idea, di Mario Mariani e Matteo Boccardo di Central Park, per colorare i nostri monitor con belle immagini • @pianteinrete, nasce come una forma di aiuto ai vivaisti che producono appositamente per vendere alle mostre A marzo iniziavano le mie visite in parchi e giardini, ma non potendolo fare ho deciso di farvi vedere i miei tre balconi nelle stories di Instagram. L’altro giorno, ho contato 132 varietà e cultivar diverse, quindi sicuramente avrò materiale a sufficienza! 「A STRANGE MONTH」 Siamo arrivati già alla fine di questo mese e sul blog trovi l’articolo sulla Botanica del Mese, le cose importanti che mi sono accadute questo mese e alcune novità ☺️ Febbraio è stato un mese piuttosto strano e penso che lo sarà anche marzo. Non parlo solo del Coronavirus per il quale molte fiere di settore sono state rimandate, ma anche per il meteo. Molte sono le fioriture anticipate (ad esempio, tantissimi ciliegi sono in fiore in questi giorni) e diverse giornate ventose secano il terreno, costringendo noi giardinieri a bagnare, in un periodo dove non si versa un goccio d’acqua nei nostri spazi verdi. 「BOTANICAL GALLERY」 Il primo mese dell’anno è volato via senza che me ne accorgessi. È per questo che ho creato la rubrica “La galleria botanica del mese”, per fissare nella mente i momenti green passati e non dimenticarmeli. Sicuramente il mio viaggio a Berlino è stato il protagonista di questo mese. È incredibile vedere con i propri occhi (e non solo sui libri) quanto l’inverno ha da offrirci. Texture, colori e giochi di luci fanno da padrone in questa stagione. Il giardino che più mi ha impresso è sicuramente Maximilianpark in Hamm, precisamente la zona di erbacee perenni e graminacee creata da Piet Oudolf. Il viaggio, tra andata e ritorno, è durato più di 10 ore per oltre 900 chilometri, ma sicuramente ne è valsa la pena. In una mezza giornata piovosa, sono andato a visitare il Pergamon Museum. Con occhi nuovi, mi sono reso conto che gli elementi naturali nell’arte antica e nelle decorazioni erano ben presenti, addirittura fin dalle civiltà mesopotamiche. Non bisogna però andare così lontani per vedere cose stupende. Basta osservare bene la natura che sempre ci sorprende, come i fiori femminile del nocciolo, così piccoli ed eleganti. 「RELAX」Dopo tanto tempo, oggi finalmente mi sono preso una giornata per rilassarmi, anche perché le mie occhiaie parlano da sole 🙈 Mi sono svegliato apposta tardi (infatti ho un mal di schiena, ah ’sta non-gioventù 🤣) e ho fatto tutto con calma. Ho in programma di leggermi un bel libro e bermi una bella cioccolata calda. Forse dovremmo imparare qualcosa dalle piante, prendere del tempo per riposarci e ricaricarci per poi dare il massimo. Tutto questo perché mi aspetteranno dei giorni di fuoco lavorativamente parlando. Tra l’altro, dal 3 al 10 gennaio sarò a Berlino (quindi addio settima invernale di relax 😅) per visitare giardini e parchi, anzi se avete suggerimenti su posti in cui mangiare e luoghi da visitare saranno graditissimi. 「HALLOWEEN」Come una pianta biennale, ogni due anni mi faccio trascinare da amici in qualche festa di Halloween. 🕷️Anche se non fa parte della nostra tradizione italiana, è una festa che mi ha sempre affascinato, anche perché sono cresciuto con il film d’animazione “Nightmare Before Christmas”.👻 Nonostante la diffusione che ha avuto in America, è una festa che ha origini antiche dai Celti (Irlanda), in particolare, è il capodanno celtico, Samhain. Per loro l’anno si concludeva il 1° novembre perché finiva la stagione calda e iniziava quella fredda e delle tenebre. La comunità poteva riposarsi e ringraziare i loro Dei per la loro generosità, e questo avveniva tramite il Samhain. Era un modo per allontanare e scongiurare l’arrivo inevitabile dell’inverno e dei suoi pericoli. I Celti credevano che durante questo giorno, il mondo dei morti e degli spiriti potesse unirsi a quello dei vivi. Alla fine, il Samhain era una celebrazione che univa la paura dell’altro mondo, all’allegria dei festeggiamenti per la fine del vecchio anno. Anziché usare la zucca, per questa giornata particolare ho pensato di usare un frutto comunque di color arancione, quello del kaki, la mia personale visione di questa giornata. 🎃 Per #ilmiomesegreen vedrò molte zucche? 「FLOWERS & FACEBOOK」È da luglio che tento di cambiare il nome della mia pagina Facebook, ma dopo le decine di mail con risposte automatiche da parte dell’azienda di Mark, ho deciso di aprire un’altra pagina con il nome Green FFink e cancellare la vecchia. Quindi se vi fa piacere, seguitemi anche lì ☺️ Drammi social a parte, oggi per il nostro hashtag #ilmiomesegreen ho voluto postare dei fiori di campo (oramai gli ultimi). Alchemilla rosa e bianca, trifogli, menta selvatica, Gallium, Centaurea nigra (il fiordaliso rosa-fucsia) e Knautia sono solo alcuni dei fiori che possiamo vedere nei campi selvatici. Amo tantissimo questi fiori e sogno di avere un giardino abbastanza grande da dedicare uno spazio a queste piante meravigliose. Inoltre attirano immancabilmente molti insetti, come api, coccinelle, libellule e farfalle. Nel mio piccolo, ho deciso di coltivare alcuni di questi fiori in balcone. È un esperimento. Nelle stories vi tengo sempre aggiornati di come stanno procedendo le semine fatte a settembre. La carota selvatica (Daucus carota) cresce a vista d’occhio e i papaveri, di tre tipi diversi, sembrano aver trovato il loro posto ideale. Ho seminato anche la Pimpinella major che timidamente è germinata. Alcune di queste piante le integrerò nelle fioriere esistenti, altre rimarranno nel loro vaso. Se anche voi amate queste piante, vi consiglio di seminarle anziché prelevare la pianta da un campo perché non tollerano molto gli spostamenti. A voi piacciono i fiori di campo? 🌾 . I really love these flowers and I dream of having a garden big enough to dedicate a space to these wonderful plants. In my own small way, I decided to grow some of these flowers on the balcony. It's an experiment. In the stories there is another chapter of how the sowing done in September is proceeding. 「BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN BLOOM」 Questo è stato l’unico acquisto che mi ero concesso durante la tre giorni di Masino. È un’erbacea poco conosciuta in Italia, ma la Rabdosia longituba si fa davvero notare in questo periodo. Non ho trovato molte informazioni riguardo a lei. È una perenne nativa dei boschi (quindi ama posizioni a mezz’ombra) del Giappone, dove viene chiamata “akichouji”. Tra settembre e ottobre produce questi magnifici fiori a trombetta, tubolari, di color blu-viola acceso in grande quantità, ma vi dirò di più! Dopo le piogge torrenziali di questi giorni, i fiori sono caduti, mostrando i calici senza petali dall’insolito colore violastro con il centro verde, sembrano quasi dei piccoli fiori. Resiste molto bene ai nostri rigidi inverni e non ha bisogno di molte cure o particolari potature. Supera tranquillamente il metro d’altezza, ma nonostante sia una pianta vigorosa, ha un portamento elegante (come molte piante dell’est asiatico) e leggero. Il fogliame è di un bel verde brillante che diventa dorato a fine autunno. Comunque sia, se saprò di più tra un anno, osservando e studiando come si comporta sul mio balcone cittadino. Mi piace provare nuove piante e imparare sempre cose nuove. ☺️ Penso sia una pianta perfetta per l’hashtag #ilmiomesegreen. Che ne pensate? 🌾 . [Eng] 🇬🇧 It is a little known herbaceous in Italy, but Rabdosia longituba really gets noticed in this period. I didn't find much information about it. It’s a perennial native of the woods (therefore loves half-shadow positions) of Japan, where it is called "akichouji". Between September and October, it produces these magnificent trumpet flowers, tubular, of a bright blue-violet color in large quantities, but I will tell you more! It resists very well our rigid winters and doesn’t need much care or particular pruning. It easily passes the height meter, but despite being a vigorous plant, it has an elegant habit and is light. The foliage is a beautiful bright green that turns golden in late autumn. However, if I know more in a year, observing and studying how it behaves on my city balcony.
