Our first post for our second #instaseries called "Show and Share". Yayy! This is where we show how we make some of our works. This is how we make our lovely postcards. We used lettering for this one. Materials: -Waterbrush -Van Gogh Watercolor Palette -Canson Watercolor Paper -Martha Stewart Envelope Punch Board -Cutter/Scissors -Corner Punch We looked for inspiration from our feed. Then, we gathered up the materials. We only had a few minutes to do this because we were going home to our family's house for lunch. 😄 We chose the purple and blue palette. We started with a light "sketch" using very watered down purple. We filled in the color with a blue and purple blend. When the paint dried, we made a mark on how big the card should be by using the punch board. We just eyeballed it. And then, we cut the edges. And using a corner punch, we punched the corners to make it curve-ish. And we're done! Yayy! You don't have to have the same materials as we do. You can use a different brand for your palette and paper. You can use a normal brush, also. But we didn't like the hassle of dipping. You can also use a ruler to measure the egdes.
