How do people just quietly read books?

Whenever I read a book I have to stop and talk to my self so I calm down or just sit there and smile because things are just so perfect! As I sit here in public trying to reading and wanting to scream and to laugh and to cry, I wonder how people can just casually sit in a library and read. I have zero composure and if anyone's watching they think I'm nuts. I'm basically sitting there doing this.
